Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around New York is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Had lunch here with 4 adults and a child, we enjoyed the flavors of the food. Especially the big noodle soup we shared. The crab fried rice was good and we enjoyed our drinks. The only thing we weren't fond of were the curry pancake and the pad thai being overly moist but all in all a great meal. We loved the decorations and the staff was great!

As someone who loves Thai curry, I had been wanting to visit Pranakhon for a long time, and now I understand why itβs consistently packed. Instead of ordering the usual favorites, I focused on their curries. The Kaeng Tae Po had a wonderful balance of sweet, sour, and herbal flavors with tender pork belly, morning glory, and fragrant kaffir lime leaves. The Kaeng Rawang was my favoriteβa rich coconut and turmeric curry with crispy soft-shell crab, young coconut, lemongrass, and crispy okra. It was creamy, aromatic, and full of flavor without being too heavy. The Short Rib Massaman was comforting and deeply flavorful, with fall-apart braised short rib in a thick, mildly sweet curry served with potatoes, onions, and lotus seeds. The restaurant itself has a warm atmosphere inspired by old Bangkok, with beautiful dΓ©cor that feels both traditional and modern. Service was friendly, and despite how busy it was, the food arrived at a good pace. If youβre looking to explore regional Thai cuisine beyond the standard menu items, Pranakhon is definitely worth a visit. I can see why it has earned its Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition, and Iβll be back to try more of the menu.

Amazing restaurant. This should be a definite stop for good, flavorful Thai food. We orders thai pancake, Pappaya salad, Chicken wings, and couple of other appetizers. Everything was tasty. But what stole the show was Shrimp Tom Yum, Crab fried rice and chicken massam curry. Pad Thai was ok and chicken fried rice od good. Place is loud but has great vibe and very attentive service.

Pranakhon interior captures the atmosphere of Bangkok, and the staffs were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The restaurant is also conveniently located and has a lively ambience. As for the food, it was generally enjoyable, but I personally didnβt find it as authentic as I had expected. The flavors seemed to be adjusted more towards local preferences. The Massaman curry, while traditionally on the sweeter side, was noticeably sweeter than it should be, which overpowered the balance of spices. The duck curry had a similar issue, with the sweetness standing out more than the rich, aromatic curry flavors. Overall, the food was acceptable and the presentation was good, but if youβre looking for a more authentic Thai dining experience, the flavors may not fully meet your expectations.

Dishes have great flavour overall. Highly recommend the crab fried rice and pork belly with morning glory. The short ribs were also quite tender and flavourful. Would avoid the soft shell crab in curry (way too much batter).
